Sådan ser listen ud, hvis jeg skal vælge fem albums udgivet i 1978. Rækkefølgen er vilkårlig. 

I første omgang havde jeg Dylans Street Legal med listen i stedet for The Clash. Også Neil Youngs Comes a Time var inde i billedet. Men hey, nu må de gamle nisser vige. There is a new sound in town. Eller, som Dylan selv kunne have formuleret det:  Your old road is rapidly agin' / please get out of the new one / If you can't lend your hand / For the times they are a-changin'.
